After an evening of snow on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday have brought freezing temperatures. This morning it was like 19 degrees. The high today barely got above 32. This all means lots of ice on the roads. Most of the main streets are clear, but side streets are pretty slick. Maddie "skated" by with 2 straight days of no school. Today's annoucement of no school was kind of a bummer. For starters, it was another day with 2 ACTIVE girls at home for steph :-). Also, this meant that our game against Concordia Seattle was cancelled. (For those that dont know I have been helping with Hope's 7-8th grade basketball team. This is my 2nd year helping out....I will post more on this later as we get close to LEST)
Last tid bit I have to share is this latest Seahawks song. I know many of you are big Justin Timberlake fans :-) so this should give you a good chuckle. Seriously though, go hawks! Sunday at 10am vs DaBears.
