Not sure how long it will last, but I can say I was a part of history today. With all the I-5 contsruction, everyone is being encouraged to take alternative transportation. As a result, there were 191 of us on the 7:30am water taxi. It was PACKED.
When I got to the dock, I thought there was no way I was getting on the boat. But after pushing and shoving I made it :-) Just kidding...they just got approval for increased capacity to 250 (from 150) so we had some room to spare. Either way it was cool to be a part of the new record. Records are meant to be broken, so my guess is that it will be short lived.
