Wild Times

Yesterday was the Daptiv Summer Picnic and for the 2nd year in a row we went to Wild Waves. It isnt your typical company picnic, but it works out pretty well as they provide a BBQ lunch on the top part of the park, and then just let us go for the rest of the time. As we were getting ready to head out, we got a call from the McAllisters wanted to see if Maddie could play....Maddie and Makalya are best buds, so we know Maddie would miss out...so we said, hey why dont you come on down to Wild Waves. They (and many others) still had tickets from the end of School when the Wild Waves trip got rained out. That sounded like a good plan so they decided to come. Then we were thinking...hey the Doerrs have tickets too, wonder if they want to come. After a couple calls, they were in too. So, we had a full day in front of us now. The crew all hooked up around 2:30, then Rob came down about 4:45. We went on rides, water slides, wave pool, etc. The weather was perfect, around 75, and it was a blast.
